my precious, rescued. and yes it's desperate housewives i'm watching
Sure, it's not the ultra slinky iPod nano or the muti coloured iPod mini. Neither is it the 1.62 inch iPod shuffle and by the way if you're wondering yes, 1.62 inches, unbelievable. It's not even the simply, black iPod video. It's not even a whooping 40GB, just little ol' plain jane 20GB.

I though it was a goner. My songs were all gone, but the space that previously occupied my songs were still in use. I couldn't manage to connect it to the laptop at all and it was definitely not in sync with my iTunes. So, I shoved it in my drawer and it remained there until today, when I felt so music deprived in bed.

Dug it out of the ruins and to no surprise it still doesn't work. I did some adjustments, actually a lot of adjustments. I downloaded a new iTunes, version 7.02, downloaded a new software updater, read through the support manuals on apple.com and finally managed to connect white piece of trash to my iTunes, thus enabling me to restore the whole piece of plastic to its factory settings. Because I am the genius that I am, I managed to restore the whole thing and added my songs back into the now lively, lovely, clean white tech piece.
girly shopping time with the boyfriend
I've had my iPod for say about two years now and I've heard of all the fuss and guss about podcasts but I never really got to using my iTunes for anything else aside from listening to songs. So, because it's the weekend and I deserve a break I went surfing on my iTunes, clicking on this' and thats. And I must say...
The iTunes store is officially one of my favourite stores. They've got all your entertainment needs covered. Archives of movies, songs, TV shows and music videos from the past to the present. Reviews, staff favourites, new releases, radio charts and even Nike Sports Music, whatever that is (yet to explore that). It's overwhelming.

I have entered into a completely new dimension. I'm so excited about everything, video podcasts to audio podcasts. And it's not just the podcasts, there are celebrity playlists where you get to check out who's listening to what.

But most of all, my lovely sleek, white, once a piece of plastic trash iPod is working again. Me and my boyfriend are doing great, wonderful. People are on cloud nine, I'm on cloud number twenty seven. To top it all off, it's the weekend at last and me and the girls have plans to raid One U tomorrow.
I am one hell of a happy girl. Good night!
